I wasn’t gonna reblog this until I saw the park riders are little bitches comment. That’s just the most ignorant thing I’ve ever seen, this has nothing to do with whether you ride park or street. I consider myself a street rider, it’s how I learned how to scooter and it will always be my favorite way to express myself on a scooter. But sorry, no, rather than this being an ongoing argument between park and street riders, this is about people who want scooter riders to be united, no matter what our personal preferences are, because we’re all doing the same thing in the end: riding scooters. Everyone is so concerned about the future of the sport and whether or not it’s going In the direction THEY want it to go, and this is having the opposite effect, instead of progression it’s causing division and consequently, regression in the scooter scene. Honestly I agree with what alot of the “push it” guys want for our sport, because I too hope it becomes alot more like skateboarding is now. But at least I realize the only way that’s gonna happen is by focusing on yourself and leading by example, not being a dick and hating on anyone who doesn’t ride the same way you do. It’s just pathetic to see some of the best riders (in my opinion) being so close minded and ignorant.Scooters are serious business.
I’m still wondering about Zig Short’s stance..? #confusedlol
